"BROKEN FOR YOU"

Join Pastor Tony as he walks you and your guests through a seder dinner, rich with teaching on the symbolism of each element pointing us to Jesus, the promised Messiah! You can participate as a family, in a group or even by yourself.

You can view the video here or on our Integrity Church YouTube Channel if you would like to watch it on your smart TV.

The Seder Dinner is intended to be fun and full of fellowship and laughs!  It’s not intended to be somber and overly serious. It’s a teaching tool to remember the faithfulness of God and it points to the provision of our Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ.

We’ve included the list of items you will need below. If you can’t find enough shank bones for everyone present, that’s ok! If the host has one on their plate, that will suffice as it is only “referenced” in the meal and not used to eat. You can also use a chicken bone if you’d like.

We’ve also provided a picture of a Seder place setting for you to set up for your guests. While each person will have 1 piece of matzah, the host will have 3 pieces near them. Also, have a large napkin or cloth to wrap one of the matzahs up when instructed to.

Additionally, have a hand washing bowl present for people to dip their fingers and dry with a towel. If you prefer to have separate bowls for each person, you can do that too … just don’t use the Salt water, LOL!

It is not necessary to have 4 separate cups for wine or juice. You can use the same cup for each pouring.

Feel free to pause the video as needed until everyone is ready to proceed.

Here is the list of items needed:

  1. A roasted lamb shank bone (if lamb cannot be found, a chicken bone is fine)
  2. A hardboiled roasted egg
  3. Parsley
  4. Charoset (a mixture of nuts, apples, wine (or grape juice) and spice (creates a “paste”)
  5. Bitter Herbs (horseradish)
  6. Matzah (enough for 2 per person and 3 for host)
  7. Wine or grape juice (enough for 4 cups per person … each cup is equivalent of large sip)
  8. A large bowl for hand washing
  9. Small towel / cloth for hand drying for each person
  10. Salt (to make salt water)
